KeeleSU Volunteers and Charity Conference | Monday 12th September | 10am - 3pm | Keele University Sustainability Hub

Are you a local charity or not-for-profit organisation?

Have you considered employing Keele student volunteers?

Our conference is designed to give you an insight into student volunteering at Keele, and how having Keele student volunteers could benefit your organisation and the local community.

The day will consist of:

  • Talks from University staff, including academic staff, on the importance of volunteering and the benefits of having student volunteers
  • Presentations from student volunteers
  • Presentations from charities already working in partnership with KeeleSU Volunteering
  • FREE lunch
  • Afternoon Workshops covering: How to begin recruiting students online with KeeleSU Volunteering; Using student volunteer teams for one-off community projects; Working with academic staff to target students with specialist skills; Writing engaging role descriptions

Please book your free tickets here by 17th August to confirm your interest in attending.

If you find you are no longer able to attend, please email su.volunteering@keele.ac.uk to cancel your booking.

We will be in touch nearer the time with a full agenda and session plan for the day.
