Keele Association of Social Work (KASW)

Keele Association of Social Work (or KASW for short) is a new society which has been created for students studing Social Work at Keele, or for those who are interested in the world of social work.

The aims of this society are:

  • To bring the cohort of social work together! The reason this society was started was to help engage students throughout the years so that relationships can be built, and it makes it a lot easier to do group work if you know eachother!
  • To put on a variety of events throughout the year - such as social events, to give everyone the chance to have a break from their studys and enjoy their time at university!
  • We are also there to help support each other with the course itself. It can be quite demanding, so hopefully the society will provide a space for everyone to share the knowledge they have got

Mostly, this society is for fun, to help social work students feel more connected within the university.

Let us know if you have any more questions and we shall try our best to answer them! Contact us on soc.socialwork@keele.ac.uk
