(Criminology & Sociology Keele Society)

Welcome to Keele Criminology and Sociology Society (better known as CrimSocKS). We are a newly resurrected society this year, so expect some big things! Joining a society is a great way to make friends and meet like minded people. While we are an academic society, you do not actually have to study criminology or sociology to join us! During these unprecedented times, it can be scary coming to uni, even if you're a returning student, we have adapted our events so they are inclusive to everyone. As our events are going to predominatly virtual for at least the first semester they are suitable for people on campus as well as off campus that would not ordinarly be able to make it.
As a relatively new society, what we do here is entirely up to you! We have a few ideas up our sleeve that we have been working on during lockdown and behind the scenes such as murder mystery nights, socials and (if Boris allows) an end of year spring ball with the Psycholgy Society! We do also study support for those studying our pathway. We aim to create a safe environment where no question is stupid and that our members feel fully supported!
You've made it this far, what are you waiting for? We look forward to meeting you! If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact on, our details are above, one of our lovely committee will be more than happy to help x
