KeeleSU May By-Elections 2019

KeeleSU is holding by-elections to fill a number of part time officer roles. Those elected will take office on 1st July to represent students and help lead KeeleSU for the 2019/20 academic year. Only students who are members of a society are able to participate in the Society Executive Elections and only PG students are able to participate in the election of the Postgraduate Students' Officer.

Socieities Executive - Film, Media & Literature Reserved Place

This position on Societies Executive specifically represents members of Societies in the Film, Media and Literature category.

The Societies Executive are a group of individuals elected from within existing society committees who meet throughout the year to focus on society development and to guide the Activities & Community Officer with their work. Responsibilities include reviewing new society applications, deciding on the allocation of funds to societies, dissolving inactive societies and helping to resolve issues, reviewing and voting on the awards and recognition presented to societies, and, most importantly holding the Activities & Community Officer to account - working with them in order to influence their campaigns and priorities for the year. This position is reserved for someone who is a committee member of a society in the Film, Media and Literature category.
