NUS Delegate (3 places)

NUS Delegates represent KeeleSU at the NUS Conference. Dates TBC. NUS National Conference the head policy making body of NUS UK. Delegates are elected from each local Students’ Union that is an affiliated member of NUS to represent students’ views on a National level. It sets policy for the year ahead in each of the 5 zones and elects the NUS Officers.

Postgraduate Students' Delegate

The Postgraduate Students' Officer represents all postgraduate students at Keele, promoting events of interest to PG students, and working with the KPA committee to ensure issues affecting postgraduate students are heard and addressed.

Societies Executive - Academic & Careers Reserved Place (2 places)

This position on Societies Executive specifically represents members of Societies in the Academic and Careers category. There are 2 places available because of the number of students in these societies.

The Societies Executive are a group of individuals elected from within existing society committees who meet throughout the year to focus on society development and to guide the Activities & Community Officer with their work. Responsibilities include reviewing new society applications, deciding on the allocation of funds to societies, dissolving inactive societies and helping to resolve issues, reviewing and voting on the awards and recognition presented to societies, and, most importantly holding the Activities & Community Officer to account - working with them in order to influence their campaigns and priorities for the year. This position is reserved for someone who is a committee member of a society in the Academic and careers category.
