After 18 months of online crafts, Keele SU Crafternoons are back!
Wednesday of Welcome Week is going to be our Sustainability Fair, and it wouldn't be right to have one without inviting Morsbags back to join us!
Morsbags are a charity that up-cycle old pieces of fabric into reusable shopping bags. To date, they have made and distributed 435,041 bags, replacing a whopping 226,221,310 plastic bags!
For this Crafternoon, a volunteer from Morsbags is bringing in four vintage Singer sewing machines to teach you guys how to make your own reusable shopping bags! No sewing skill is required - we will show you how to use the machines and sew the fabric, and you'll walk away with your very own tote bag made by you!
The Crafternoon will be held on the big wooden table in the SU Living Room - affectionately known as the Crafternoon table. It's free to join and there's no booking required - just pop by when you can!
Make sure you drop in after visiting the Sustainability Fair, the Crafternoon will be on all day!
If you have any questions, wish to know more or would like to host your own Crafternoon with Keele SU, please contact c,email@example.com.
