Cross stitching is a great way to relax after a busy Welcome Week and a hectic start to the semester. It's a relaxing form of embroidery that involves following a pattern to create a pretty picture, which can be used to decorate your room, gifted to your friend or sewn onto a bag or item of clothing. That's why this week's Crafternoon will be spent stitching these lovely designs by hand!
As always, Keele SU Crafternoons are free and you don't need to book to come along. We have a number of designs for you to choose from, and they're great for beginners so don't worry if you've never picked up a needle and thread before! We will teach you everything you need to know to get started - you'll be stitching away in no time.
Join us at the 'Crafternoon Table' on the ground floor of Keele SU from 2-4pm (the big wooden table near to Union Kitchen) to give it a go and enjoy a relaxing, crafty atmosphere!
If you have any questions, wish to know more or would like to host your own Crafternoon with Keele SU, please contact c,email@example.com.
