Keele trauma course is a conference aimed at clinical medical students and Junior doctors (although student paramedics and preclinical medical students interested in trauma are also welcome!). During the morning teaching on topics such as airway management, A-E assessment and control of bleeding will be delivered by clinicians with expertise in areas such as PHEM, EM and ICU. The afternoon will focus on practicing applying the skills covered earlier on in the day with various moulages including car crashes and military medicine. Teaching will take place both inside and outside, so please bring warm clothes. There will also be a guest lecture (To be confirmed!) followed by a hot lunch.
