Climate change is and has always been a racial issue, with those most affected being Black and Indigenous People of Colour (BIPOC). While BIPOC have made the smallest contribution to global emissions, they are increasingly forced to bear the consequences of it.
In this talk, join Keele University and Keele SU for a talk and Q&A with former NUS Black Students’ Officer, Fope Olaleye, who will be shedding light on the climate emergency as a racial issue, and how we can build an anti-racist movement for climate justice.
