Keele Drama are currently expanding their activities into the local community and working with the New Vic Theatre.
Keele Drama are currently expanding their activities into the local community and working with the New Vic Theatre. The New Vic run weekly Drama workshops which KDS have been encouraging members to join and interact with. This is acting as a skill share and improving both parties! They’re also currently working with the New Vic to implement new activities and events.
Drama has updated their society constitution to be consistent throughout and to become more relevant and coherent. They also changed to STV voting as it is recognised in the union which means students can use what they are familiar with, and it also provides the fairest way to elect.
This term has seen a number of different collaboration events with the Union and other societies. Drama took part in world festival with an information stall at the Welcome Event. They’ve also worked to present the Eurovision society event and KARP (Keele Amphitheatre Regeneration Project).
