This year we have two super exciting things planned for you and we can’t wait to share them!
Weekly Pointe Work Class
This class is aimed at anyone who has pointe shoes and would like to strengthen and develop their technique. This is open to all abilities of pointe work, whether you got your pointe shoes last year or have been dancing on pointe for years!
NB: in order to partake in the pointe work class, you are required to attend Advanced at the very minimum. This is so that everyone is as warmed up and as safe as possible!
“Dance Family” Scheme
Each new member of Keele Dance will be assigned a Dance “Parent” (aka an existing member of the society) at the beginning of the year, who would provide a friendly face to be there for them. A few socials throughout both semesters will have a Dance Family theme - which will be super fun!
Your committee have been busy bees during the summer getting things ready for September - we can't wait to see everyone and welcome you all into our family!
