Monday 5th 

BE MORE Volunteer: Garden Project

We are returning to Camoys Court residential care home to work with the residents on a garden project of creating a sensory garden to brighten up their garden ready for summer. 
In between gardening, we will be providing lunch , giving you the opportunity to chat to the residents and find out more about Camoys Court.

Tuesday 6th

BE MORE Volunteer: Douglas Macmillan

Join us for a trip to Douglas Macmillan's Burslem store, to find out all about what they do and help sort donations ready to be sold to fundraise for the charity

We will provide transport from KeeleSU, leaving at 10am and returning to KeeleSU at 3.30pm. 

A free packed lunch will be provided.

Wednesday 7th

BE MORE Volunteer: Campus Green Team

You will be supporting the Estates Team to keep our campus green, clean and beautiful! You will help with maintaining and developing memorial garden, helping with a variety of tasks such as tending plants and trees and creating footpaths.

Travel reimbursement is available for those who live off campus - just bring in your bus receipts to the volunteering department!

Thursday 8th

BE MORE Volunteer: Selling Your Volunteering Skills 

 We’re running a session on how to sell your skills to employers, how to talk effectively about what your volunteering allows you to offer, and how to best utilise the skills record on the SU website.  

Come along to our free and interactive session, and learn how you can best sell your volunteering skills!

Friday 9th

BE MORE Volunteer:Dog Walking

We will be heading out to do some dog-walking with Greyhound Gap, a charity that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes dogs who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds.

Transport provided from and back to KeeleSU. The minibus will be leaving at 10am and will pick you up at 1pm to return to campus.
