We are seeking a dynamic, versatile and highly motivated individual to work with the Volunteering Manager (Maternity Cover) to promote, administer and support student volunteering.
You will work closely with KeeleSU elected officers and staff. You will support students to identify, contact and begin volunteering and then help them to achieve tangible outcomes that impact positively on the experience of their fellow students and/or the wider community. You will be required to prepare appropriate resources including web materials, and use a variety of social media platforms to promote Volunteering. You will maintain and develop appropriate databases and implement effective administration of HEAR records and other data. You will assist with the coordination of one-off volunteering opportunities and various events.
You will possess a good general level of education, excellent communication, and organisational skills and have experience within the voluntary sector. You must have a working knowledge of current trends in volunteering and/or volunteer development and will have excellent IT skills preferably experience with databases. You must have the ability to prepare and deliver training. You must have an enthusiastic and approachable manner and be able to enthuse, inspire and motivate others.
32 Hours per week
£8.76 per hour
The position is fixed term, provisional dates: 20th February 2017 - 29th September 2017 (There may be some slight variation to dates)
