Keele Islamic Society raises an incredible £19,956.05 over their national fundraising week!

They carried out a number of activities including Climbing mount Snowdon, selling Krispy Kremes around campus and selling hot foods at the forest of lights; such as rice, chicken wraps and samosas.

They also put on small events every evening throughout the week which included events such as desserts night, girls football, badminton, games night, boys mortal combat x tournament, and a Fifa tournament, and to (ironically) bring everyone together they also had a 'battle of the societies' quiz night in which they invited different societies to take part!

Finally to round the week off they held their charity week dinner which included a meal, entertainment, and an auction in which members took part in a bake-off and the cakes were then auctioned off - amongst other statement pieces that were sold, i.e. canvas's.

The charity spirit was so high that collectively the whole room managed to purchase a tub of margarine for a bid of £200!

KeeleSU Volunteering and Activities would like to thank Isoc for their fantastic efforts during the week.
