Leroy, your Activities & Community Officer, with the help from ASK, has produced a letter for you to send to your landlord asking for rent relief. Download the document here.
Please understand that this is the decision of the landlord, by sending this letter does not guarantee rent relief.

Update 1st April 2020
At KeeleSU, we’re doing all we can to ensure that we’re able to provide you the best service possible, both now and in the future. This does mean though that at the moment, like many organisations, we are running on much lower staffing levels than usual.
As we will be running on a limited staff service we will aim to keep you as updated as we can through our social channels and this web page. During this time, individual replies such as email/messaging/staff social accounts might be slower than usual, but we’ll do our utmost to respond when we can. Please be kind to our staff and officers as we work through this, we do hope you understand in these really unpredictable times that we are trying our very best.
Update 23rd March 2020
We understand that some students aren't able to leave campus and Keele University are supporting those students.
We are aware that there are some students who are going against government advice of social distancing and are still socialising / living on campus who might have the option to leave campus / return home.
As per the Vice Chancellor's request last week, we urge you, if it is safe to do so, to return home at your earliest opportunity. If you have no choice but to stay on campus, please ensure the University is aware of this by 'checking in' on Keele's Safezone app whilst on campus.

KeeleSU's building will be closing on Friday 20th March at 2pm. It will remain closed until further notice
KeeleSU's online shop and therefore deliveries will be suspended until further notice. All current orders have been honoured.

Update 17th March 2020
Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19 and following on from Government advice, KeeleSU has taken the decision to reduce some of its services. It is important to note, that in line with the latest Public Health England advice as of 16th March, if you or anyone you live with has either a high temperature or a new continuous cough then you should remain at home or self-isolate in your accommodation for 14 days.
We recognise that this is a difficult time for many and still understand a need for KeeleSU to support you.
This is something that is currently being reviewed daily so please keep your eye on this page for updates.
The current situation at KeeleSU is:
The building will be open 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday starting from today.
The top floor will be closed to students - with the exception of Print & Copy Shop, which can be accessed via the lift.
Print & Copy Shop will remain open 9am - 4pm until at least 27th March where it will be reviewed. (This may be brought forward if government advice changes)
The middle floor will be closed, this includes K2, The Squirrel Bar & Kitchen, Blueprint and Ballroom, from today
Coffee House will be open from 8am - 4pm during weekdays
Union Shop will be open from 9:30am - 3pm during weekdays
Union Kitchen will be closed from tomorrow, Wednesday 18th March.
Reception staff will be in, but they will be based in the office by the main entrance.
As a result of these restricted times and advisories, all events will be cancelled until at least 26th April where it will be reviewed. (This may be brought forward if government advice changes).
All room bookings between now and 26th April will be cancelled.
All vehicle bookings between now and 26th April will be cancelled.
Sports team training will no longer be taking place
Interactions with ASK, Student Voice, Student Opportunities, Elected Officers, Finance and Marketing will be moved online. Please use pre existing functions or email on email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com.
Finance will not be accepting cash at this time.
As you can imagine, this is likely to change. We will update you with more information as we’re able to.
