Our hostels would love some volunteer help this winter through our Working Holiday programme.
Tasks vary between hostels but usually involve painting and decorating, garden and grounds work and cleaning. Accommodation is provided free of charge and we can also help with travel expenses.
All working holidays include a thank-you meal and some free time so you can explore the surrounding area. With locations as diverse as the remote iconic YHA Black Sail to Elizabethan splendour at YHA Wilderhope Manor or the city lights of YHA Bristol there is something for everyone.
It is helpful if you have some experience in practical tasks but a willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a team is much more important. Its a great way to meet new people, have fun and spend time somewhere different.
