Restorative Justice Facilitator

Staffordshire Restorative Justice Hub helps victims to be able to come into communication with the person who has caused them harm and enables them to get answers that are not normally provided by the Criminal Justice System We are looking for volunteers to help run Restorative Justice Conferences within Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent bringing those harmed and the offender face to face. The role will involve home visits and pre-arranged meetings with both the victim and the offender. Full training will be provided. We are looking for volunteers who have skills to be able to facilitate a meeting between two parties, have empathy and good communications skills.

Staffordshire Wide

Training available

You will be offered a three day RJ practitioner training that will enable you to be able to deliver RJ interventions. You will also be able to access core cab training where applicable

DBS required?


Transport details

The work will mainly be out in the community. You will be allocated a case with another practitioner and there will be a requirement to be able to attend appointments within the community
