Health and Wellbeing Volunteer

This opportunity takes place between 18 May 2020 and 31 Aug 2020.

Caudwell Children is dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled children across the UK and in these uncertain times with Covid 19 it is more important than ever that we ensure that we are supporting disabled children and their families at home to lead healthy fulfilling lifestyles and to have a positive mental health and wellbeing.The health and wellbeing volunteers play a key role in helping to share well being activities with families.

You will be able to volunteer in an area of health and well-being which interests you and utilise your skills. The different tasks depending on your interests would be:

To help to create healthy easy-to-follow recipes which would be suitable for children to make at home with the help of their parents.
To help to create physical activities (for example dance or exercise videos) for a range of abilities including wheelchair users.
To provide tips/ ideas/ activities of how children and their families can look after their physical and mental health and wellbeing (especially during this period of lockdown)

Opportunity to utilise your existing skills such as creativity and to use your own initiative in order to provide help and support to families. You can utilise your interests and passion for health and wellbeing.
