To support the creation of a series of work sheets to assist in the development of CVs and profile statements for speakers of other languages.
Volunteers will be given sentences for translation. A numbering system will be used so that sentences needing translation can be easily identified.
We wanted to avoid using translation packages/software on a pc, as we feel this sometimes does not accurately reflect the statements or the meanings.
We need assistance with the clarity aspects of translation.
The first languages we are needing:
Urdu
Punjabi
Arabic
Kurdish
Kurdish Sorani
Romanian
Bengali
Hungarian
Russian
Lithuanian
Ukrainian
Pashto
Persian
Polish
Russian
Slovak
Tigrinya
Volunteering certificates from the Directorate will be provided to volunteers.
2/3 hours per language is likely required. However, this is probably an over estimation.
