The Societies Executive are a group of individuals elected from within existing society committees who meet throughout the year to focus on society development and to guide the Activities & Community Officer with their work.

What sort of things do they do?
Responsibilities include reviewing new society applications, deciding on the allocation of funds to societies, dissolving inactive societies and helping to resolve issues, reviewing and voting on the awards and recognition presented to societies, and, most importantly holding the Activities & Community Officer to account - working with them in order to influence their campaigns and priorities for the year.

Around every 2 weeks during term time.
