Thinking of Running?

KeeleSU is proud to be a student led organisation. The most exciting part of this, you as students, get to choose who leads your union. Every student at Keele has the right to put themselves forward for a leadership position within their Students’ Union!

The main cycle of elections are here now and will decide who leads your Union for the 2019-20 Academic year. Remember every student at Keele has the right to STAND, VOTE and CHANGE their Union!

CAN I RUN IN THE ELECTIONS?

The short answer is YES! Every student at Keele has the right to STAND in elections at their Union! However, if you’re not sure about whether or not to run and want to know a bit more you should visit our Elections page or get in touch with su.voice@keele.ac.uk and we'll try to help out!

Nominations open on 28th January 2018 and close on 11th February 2019, so make sure to nominate yourself if you want to run.

CAN I VOTE IN THE ELECTIONS?

The short answer is YES! Every student at Keele has the right to VOTE in elections at their Union! However, you’ll be able to learn more about your candidates and even watch them in action, debating and discussing their ideas at Candidate Hustings.

Voting runs from 26th February to 1st March with results announced in The Scruffy Squirrel on 1st March in the evening.
