    Gluten Free

    (This is a table discussion, so the text below will not specifically be voted on) Implement measures for staff in food environments to limit contamination and ensure that gluten free food is cooked properly - most gluten free foods take longer to cook than foods containing gluten and I don't think that this is being recognised. An introduction of more gluten free lunch foods in places such as the SU shop would also be beneficial. Information for the staff should also be provided as many people do not realise that coeliac disease can mean that some people are also intolerant to dairy - and many gluten free options contain dairy, meaning that some of those already provided around campus cannot be consumed by people who are coeliac.
