What you've changed

Hate crime and incidents are something that affect all minority groups e.g. BAME, LGBTQ+, Women, etc. This is a big problem for those of us whose identity may intersect, thus making us a part of multiple minority groups e.g. a black woman would be at risk of facing racism and sexism - also known as misogynoir - due to their gender and ethnicity. Change for under/mis-represented groups will better the lives of everyone. I would like the SU to: - Keele SU and Student Services need to work with ‘BME’ officer to campaign on pathways to reporting incidents and getting support. - Elected Officers need to ensure all students are aware of their options for support services such as having a representative at academic appeals, reporting microaggressions from both academic and non-academic staff, and students across campus
