Welcome to the GEM Student Network! Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive space for self-identifying GEM students on campus. We aim to empower our community through GEM-led actions and campaigns, fostering a sense of belonging and support.

What We Offer:

  • Safe Social Spaces: Join us for socials, film nights, games nights, and discussion groups where you can connect with fellow GEM students.
  • Empowerment Through Action: Participate in democratic forums, decolonising the curriculum initiatives, university policy changes, awareness campaigns, educational events, and political activism.
  • Community and Support: We provide resources, support, and a strong sense of community to help GEM students thrive academically and socially.

Get Involved:

  • Events and Activities: Throughout the year, we host a variety of events, including mixers, academic talks, cultural activities, and more.
  • Campaigns and Advocacy: Work with us to address and act on issues related to race, racism, and ethnicity within the university.
