Student Networks

Our way of making sure that students from liberation groups (such as women, students of colour, or students with disabilities) are able to run campaigns on issues that affect them specifically.
Disabled Students' Network

Welcome to the Disabled Student Network! Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive community for all disabled students. We are dedicated to representing your interests, providing resources, and fostering a sense of belonging on campus.

What We Offer:

  • Support and Advocacy: We represent disabled students, ensuring your voices are heard and your needs are met. We work on campaigns to raise awareness and promote understanding of disability issues.
  • Events and Activities: Join us for a variety of events throughout the year, including social gatherings, informational sessions, and awareness campaigns. These events are designed to build community and provide valuable information.
  • Resources and Guidance: We offer guidance on navigating university life with a disability, including accessing support services, accommodations, and other resources available to you.

Get Involved:

  • Community Building: Participate in our events and connect with other disabled students. Whether it’s through social events, discussion groups, or advocacy campaigns, there’s a place for you here.
  • Raise Awareness: Help us promote understanding and inclusivity on campus by getting involved in our campaigns and initiatives.

By joining the Disabled Student Network, you’ll be part of a vibrant community dedicated to making a positive impact on campus. We look forward to welcoming you and supporting you throughout your university journey.
