Using your Club & Society Page

Once elected, you are given committee admin access which allows you to edit your society page on the SU website. This section will look at what is available on your student group page, how you can edit it, and an example of what a good page looks like.

Once elected, you are granted committee admin access, allowing you to edit your club/society page on the SU website. Keeping your society page active and up to date is especially important from August, when new students begin exploring student groups at Keele.

Accessing Your Student Group Page

To access your student group page, log into the SU website. Only elected committee members have access to the admin tools. If you don’t have access, contact su.activities@keele.ac.uk.

What Do the Admin Tool Buttons Do?

Edit Details

Add a logo, contact details, and social media links (e.g. Facebook, Twitter). You can also embed YouTube videos to showcase your events, socials, or competitions.

Messages

Send bulk emails to members, create mailing lists, and track engagement. You can also schedule emails and select specific recipients.

Events

Manage and edit events, including ticket sales and event details. Always consult the Activities team before making changes to ticketed events.

Members and Groups

View member lists, student numbers, and payment statuses. You can also create lists for organisational purposes and manage access.

Products

Set up products for sale (e.g. hoodies, merchandise) and configure options like size, colour, and personalisation.

Sales Report

View reports on ticket sales, product purchases, and memberships over selected time periods.

Finances

Submit and manage finance requests, reimbursements, and payments. Only designated committee members can approve reimbursements.

New Membership / Change Price

Adjust membership prices or modify the types of memberships available to students.

How to Access Your Club & Society Emails

Each group has an @keele.ac.uk email address accessible via student accounts. Use this for official communication. Follow this guide to add a shared mailbox: Outlook: Add a Shared Mailbox. If you don’t have access, contact su.itsupport@keele.ac.uk.
