A man is either your brother in religion or your brother in humanity - Imam Ali (as).

The Ahlulbayt Islamic Society (ABSoc) is a student-led organisation which aims to create an environment striving for individual development and societal betterment. Representing the morals and characters of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his family we aim to meet the needs of all regardless of cultural background or religious choosing. This society not only intends to serve as a platform for people to develop themselves but to be the foundation for years of valued friendships.

We aim to explore the teachings of Islam as taught by the Prophet and his household - teachings that emphasise logic and intellect. We hold events to understand Islamic philosophy which encompasses every aspect of our lives from spirituality, sociology, psychology, to politics, economics, and even ecology. These opportunities include organised talks, charity fundraisers, games nights, discussion circles and much more.
