Welcome to Medics & Allied Health Netball! 🏐

We’re a friendly netball club offering training every Tuesday from 6–8pm, with a focus on having fun! Whether you’re an experienced netballer or have never picked up a netball before, everyone is welcome to come along.

🏆 Competitive NAMS Team

We currently have one competitive team of 14 girls entered in the NAMS league, with matches taking place on weekends. The NAMS team is open to healthcare students only and is a great opportunity for those looking to play competitively alongside their studies.

🏐 Social Training — Everyone Welcome!

You do not have to be part of the NAMS team, or even know how to play netball, to come along to our social training! Think of it as a fun 2-hour run-around with friends.

Our sessions focus on match play and strategic drills, while keeping things relaxed, friendly and pressure-free.

Everyone is welcome at social training, including boys, regardless of what course you study or your previous netball experience.

We’re particularly suited to students studying courses that fall under ‘allied health’, including medicine, physiotherapy, midwifery, nursing, pharmacy and more, as we offer a fun way to stay active alongside your studies with minimal time and commitment.

🤝 Peer Support & Community

We’re also a great way to meet other students across different healthcare and allied health courses and build a supportive community outside of your usual course.

Whether you’re looking for advice from students in the years above, someone to share the stresses of placement and exams with, or simply a friendly face around university, we aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Our members are always happy to share experiences, resources, tips and advice across different courses and years.

💙 Fundraising

Throughout the year, we also take part in small fundraising activities and events to support causes that are important to our members. These are kept fun and low-pressure, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved, contribute to the wider community and raise a little money along the way.

Aside from training, we have lots of social events for our members to get involved in, including:
