Badminton

We're a friendly club open to Keele University students of any ability, from complete beginners to professional Badminton players! We run a range of sessions for social players and more competitive players.

As a club we currently have three BUCS teams: 2 Men's and 1 Women's. These teams play in BUCS fixtures competing against other universities on Wednesday afternoons. We also have a mixed social team that plays in a local league which provides an opportunity for our social players to play with our team players and gain competitive experience. Club sessions consist of both social and competitive games depending on your preference with all players welcome at these sessions, similar to Badminton England's No Strings Badminton sessions run across the country, leaving you feeling great coming off the courts every time. Coaching is offered on training days for team and social players.

Our social secretaries also run regular KeeleSU & sober socials open to all members.

Racket hire, shuttles, court hire and club coaching are all included in the membership fee.

• Friday | 7:30am-9am | Alderton Hall (Free Court Time)

All members can attend as many or as little sessions as they'd like to!

BUCS Team Training Times: 2 additional two-hour sessions per week, open to BUCS Team members. Includes targeted coaching sessions, run by our club coach, every couple weeks.
