Welcome to Keele Equestrian Club!

Throughout the academic year, we provide many activities for all of our riders to get involved with. We have two teams that compete in BUCs, which all of our advanced riders are eligible to trial for. Alongside this we have a team of reserve riders who fill in for our A and B team riders where necessary. We also hold friendly competitions, which offer a more relaxed, fun environment for those who aren’t as competitive. As well as riding, we enjoy taking part in fundraising events, riding holidays, themed riding lessons, polo, and socials, and attend equestrian events such as Hickstead and HOYS - there is something for everyone!

Riding lessons take place every Wednesday at Poplars Farm in Meir Heath, which is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly yard. We run lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders with 2 time slots for each ability throughout the day. 

We have recently introduced polo lessons, which take place weekly at Shrewsbury Polo Club. Our polo lessons are accessible for all riding abilities. We have plans to form a team so get in touch if this is something that interests you!

We know that 2024/25 will be a great year for KUEC!
