Keele Equestrian Club takes pride in being open to people of all abilities, so whether you have never even sat on a horse before- or are more experienced- we are the club for you.

Welcome to Keele Equestrian Club.

Throughout the academic year, we provide many activities for all of our riders to get involved with. We have an A and a B team that compete in BUCs, which all of our advanced riders are eligible to trial for. Alongside this we have a team of reserve riders who fill in for our A and B team riders where necessary. We also hold friendly competitions, which offer a more relaxed, fun environment for those who aren’t as competitive. As well as riding, we enjoy taking part in fund raising events, quiz nights, themed riding lessons and socials, and attend equestrian events such as Hickstead and HOYS so there is something for everyone. We plan on booking an Equestrian holiday abroad this year too!

Training takes place every Wednesday at Poplars Farm in Meir Heath, which is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly yard. We run lessons for beginners, intermediates and advanced riders with 2 time slots for each ability throughout the day.

Last year we introduced polo lessons, taking place at Shrewsbury Polo Club. We aim to increase membership participation in this for this year- especially as it is accessible for all riding abilities. We have plans to form a team so get in touch if this is something that interests you!

We know that 2023/24 will be a great year for KUEC!

KUEC are proud to announce… HOEDOWN THROWDOWN 🐴🤠 But here's the best bit.... We've got a RODEO BULL in the ballroom!!! We have DMK DJing, and themed games and drinks for the night. We promise it’ll be one to remember!
