Flute Choir is an all inclusive music ensemble, playing a large variety of pieces throughout the year. We rehearse every Wednesday 5:30-7pm in Barnes Bar. All abilities are welcome to come along.

Flute Choir is a place for people interested in the flute to practice and perform, whilst simultaneously developing and improving your abilities to both read and play music.

Players of all standard are welcome to join us, whether you're an experienced player or a complete beginner that would like to learn. We rehearse in a laid back friendly environment, giving members the opportunity to conduct the choir if they wish. We also have the opportunity for members to try and play different types of flutes such as Alto, Bass and Piccolo for certain pieces. We have a small number of flutes that our members are available to borrow at request.

Flute Choir have a number of performance opportunities throughout the year; including performing in a Christmas Concert, a spring concert, and The Summer Extravaganza with most of the Music Societies.

Flute choir is also part of the Keele University Music Union, collaborating closely with other music ensembles at Keele.

If you would like any more information please contact us via soc.flutechoir@keele.ac.uk or through our Facebook page (link ->).
