KUFC is the largest club in the AU, with around 150 members each year. We advocate determination, passion, progression and commitment - do you have what it takes?
We are a friendly and approachable club and aim to provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for players of varying abilities.
We have 6 teams playing in BUCS and in local leagues. Our club upholds the values of integrity, teamwork and solidarity which were instilled into the club over nearly 20 years by our Keith Harrison who sadly passed in 2015. Keith was a hugely influential part of the club and one of the major forces behind the first Varsity event. The sports park which includes the 3G pitch where we train and play, has been named after Keith, and the number 16 shirt has been retired in his honour. The club completes a cycle ride to Paris at the end of each year to raise money for charity in his memory; we raised over £2000 for MacMillan in 2018.
The club holds trials for newcomers every year, usually in October. After this has taken place, each team trains for two hours each per week. Socials are held on Wednesdays with various themes throughout the year and serve as great team bonding opportunities, alongside other numerous charity events. After a successful 17/18 campaign that included a 1-0 Varsity win for the 1st team, a run to the final of the BUCS cup for the 2nd team, and a second consecutive league win for the 4th team, we are striving to match and surpass these achievements in the upcoming year.
