The main aim of this society is to get Sikhs & non - Sikhs together on a weekly basis, to carry out events, discussions, socials & sports, whilst promoting the Sikh faith to everyone.

We host events every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm - 8pm in Walter Moberley building in Room WM1.01. On average, around 20-30 students attend on a weekly basis.

The events range from talks (by Guest Speakers from a variety of different organisations, including the British Organisation of Sikh Students (BOSS), Basics of Sikhi, Sikh 2 Inspire, Sikh Awareness Society (SAS), Midland Langar Sewa Society (MLSS), open discussions, movie nights (Chaar Sahibzadeh), socials, and Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) trips.

We also offer socials to members and to non-members. This is because the society is open to all regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender. In previous years we have been Bowling, Alton Towers Scarefest, Laserquest and Escape Rooms.

We make it a worthwhile experience for everybody that is a part of it!

Please feel free to contribute any ideas and anything that will help the society to move forward.
