Setting up your own project

Support and ideas for setting up a volunteering project

Did you know that you can set up your own Volunteering Project?

The KeeleSU Volunteering Team can support you in setting up your own volunteering project. We will be putting on training sessions so that you can learn all about what goes into setting something up yourself, plus you will find out about all the amazing skills you will gain from it.

There are so many ways that you can make a difference. Your idea doesn't have to be a huge or complex and there is also funding & support available to help you set this up. Also, if you are in Halls on campus, you can set up a volunteering project and gain points for Halls Life.

Here are some ideas to get you started....

  • A performance at a community centre
  • Community litter pick
  • Sports competition with local school
  • Foodbank
