About Me
Hello, I’m Caitlin! I am a third-year in Environmental Science, and I am running for Experience and Community Officer. During my time at Keele, I have been part of 8 clubs and societies (from music to games, including 4 committees), as well as lead student voice rep for my school. I love music, board games, crafts, baking, and video games.
Why vote for me
I’m running for this role because I want to give back to the community and all the amazing student groups at Keele (such as clubs, societies, networks…). They’ve had such a good impact on my time at uni, so I want to support all their hard work in making university a fun experience.
I’d like to ensure that all students can have access to good opportunities and experiences, and to support students in making friends and finding a sense of belonging and identity. I really care about our student groups, and I know the importance of feeling included in the community at university, so I really want to do as much as I can to support this.
What makes me good for the role
- I really do care about all this, and I’m ready to listen and work hard to help students get what they want out of their time at university.
- Society and Committee Experience - Being in so many societies and committees has given me an understanding of the support that student groups need, and how important these groups are.
- Lead Voice Rep- I am also the Lead Voice Rep for my school, which has given me a further insight into the ways student feedback is used, and the problems concerning current students.
Enjoy voting, and good luck to all the candidates!
