Hi everyone,

I’m Ivy, and I’m excited to be running for Development and Democracy Officer! As someone who loves working with people, bringing new ideas to the table, and making sure every voice is heard, I believe I’d be a great fit for this role.

Why should you vote for me?

I bring a mix of experience, energy, and enthusiasm. Having served as both an assistant library secretary and house captain (sports secretary) at my previous school, I understand what it takes to represent students and work thin a student body. This isn’t new to me – I know how to listen, advocate and take action.

Beyond experience, I have the skills to back it up:

Team player – I work well with others and believe the best ideas come from collaboration.

Great communicator – whether it’s making sure your concerns are heard or keeping you informed; I’ll always be transparent and approachable.

Quick learner – can easily grasp new concepts and turn ideas into reality.

Fun and engaging – let’s be honest, democracy doesn’t have to be boring! I bring energy, positivity, and of course, the vibes.

My vision:

As an international student and someone full of surprises, I bring a unique point of view. I have fresh ideas and big ambitions – from improving student representation to making positive changes in the SU that truly reflect what you want and need. My goal is simple: to support, represent, and put students first in every decision made.

I’d be truly honoured to take on this role, I will bring passion, commitment and definitely a little goofiness along the way. So, if you want a Development and Democracy Officer who listens, acts, and makes things happen, vote for me! It’s the best decision.
