Organised by the Harvey Milk Foundation and celebrated each year on May 22 in memory of Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist assassinated in 1978. He was one of the first openly gay elected officials in US history.

This event recognises the observance and liberation days that Keele SU is able to celebrate during this academic year.

While we aim to acknowledge each of these important dates, our staff team is not always able to organise an activity for every one. If you would like to organise something yourself, either individually or with a group of fellow students, and need some guidance or support, please do get in touch!
