Keele Rock Appreciation Posse (KRAP) have planned new events by offering additional opportunities for members to meet before a club night; for example before the Valhalla club night they asked members to partake in a shield painting workshop. This was positively received by members who enjoyed the opportunity to get involved with decoration, highlighting how KRAP is about more than drinking and music.

They have reviewed previous events and taken into account members’ comments that clubnights have become stale by changing the club night format from rotation of musical styles to a new ‘one off’ styling. These one off nights have enabled a link to be made between music and dress theme with the low cost of a little extra effort by the committee.

KRAP have rewritten their constitution to include a Social Secretary as part of the committee and the removal of the Webmaster position due to changes in KRAP’s social media marketing.

They have also collaborated with other societies to run KARNAGE, a 12 hour festival. They are hopeful that this will reduce any stigma associated with the society and help other societies recruit new members.
