Elections are open until the 27th of April 2026, and we encourage everyone to:
- Vote for the candidates you feel best suit each role
- Consider standing for a position yourself!

Below is a list of available roles and their general responsibilities. If you’d like more details about any role, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email (soc.crafts@keele.ac.uk) or our Instagram DMs (@Keelecraftsociety).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
President
- oversees committee members' responsibilities, ensuring everyone has adequate support
- Main point of contact / decision making
- Monitors communication channels
- Attends all meetings and training sessions
Vice president
- Communicates with each committee member, supporting them if they need help
- Assist / fill in for other committee if they are temporarily unable to perform their responsibilities (i.e. illness or exam)
Treasurer
- Manages society's finances
- Manages purchasing choosing appropriate supplies for sessions
- Applies for grants
- Work closely with the President to direct financial pathway
Social media secretary
- Manages Social media account
- In charge of creating and posting for sessions, events, and promotions
- Monitors messaging on emails and social media
Secretary
- Keeps minutes in meeting
- In charge of newsletters and updating members
- Complete admin (paperwork, forms
- Collate inspiration boards and tutorials for sessions
Wellbeing officer
- Make yourself known as the safe, main point of contact for society members
- Support members, making sure they're enjoying their time, and offer reasonable advice
- Pass on issues or suggestions from members to committee
- Research and work with the secretary to communicate important international events such as those related to mental health and inclusion.
Supplies organiser
- Gather and organise supplies for sessions
- Monitor supply stock, organising necessary purchasing with
- Ensures every session and event has adequate supplies
Events coordinator
- liason for events and community programs. Conduct outreach for fundraisers and chairty opportunities
- Runs stalls and attends events
- Work closely with committee members to promote events and ensure events have all supplies necessary
