Black History Month

October is the UK's Black History Month, a time when the achievements and struggles of Black people are recognised and celebrated throughout the UK. We, at KeeleSU, want to become a truly antiracist Students’ Union and we have been working with the University to put race equity at the top of the agenda. This year at Keele, we have worked closely with the University to put on a range of events and activities for staff and students to learn more about Black History, celebrate culture and to work towards creating a more inclusive campus for our Black students and staff.

Our Black History Month program features a mixture of online and in-person events and is open to participation by everyone.
