The New Vic Theatre and Borderlines Creative Arts are providing after-school/college sessions for Ukrainian and Afghan children/young people as well as other refugees and asylum seekers.
Volunteers are required to support the New Vic Theatre's newly formed Brighter Horizons after-school/college sessions for Ukrainian and Afghan children/young people as well as other refugees and asylum seekers in the local area.
The session are on Tuesday afternoons from 4 - 5.30pm, for 11 - 18 year olds, providing homework help, skill building, creative activities, and opportunities to make new friends. Healthy snacks provided. The New Vic Theatre is in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
We would love some volunteers from Keele to support this, especially to help with homework and gcse revision in subjects such as Maths Science and English lit and language
We will provide DBS checks and also cover transport costs for volunteers
