๐ซ School Voice Representative (SVR)
For Keele University Students
School Voice Representatives (SVRs) are the lead student reps within each school, working closely with Programme Voice Reps, the Students’ Union, and university staff to ensure student feedback drives meaningful change at the school level.
๐งญ What You’ll Do as an SVR
As a School Voice Representative, you will:
- ๐ช Chair the Student Staff Voice Committee (SSVC) — the main forum for student feedback in your school, held four times a year.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Attend School Education Committee (SEC) — represent students in high-level discussions on teaching and learning.
- ๐ Attend University Student Voice Committee (USVC) — on a rotational basis with other SVRs.
- ๐ฃ Support Programme Voice Reps — gather and escalate feedback from across your school.
- ๐ง Contribute to the Students’ Union — through surveys, focus groups, and Have Your Say Days (HYSDs).
- ๐ Report to the Education Officer — share insights and updates from your school.

Who Can Be an SVR?
Anyone can apply, though prior experience as a student rep is preferred. You’ll receive full training and support from Keele SU.
