Are you a Black medical or healthcare student looking for a supportive and empowering community? KACS Medics is a student-led society dedicated to uplifting African and Caribbean heritage students at Keele, particularly those in medicine and related healthcare courses.

We aim to create a safe space where students can connect, thrive academically, and celebrate culture. From academic support and clinical skills workshops to social events, networking opportunities, and wellbeing check-ins, KACS Medics is here to help you succeed both in and out of your degree.

We also collaborate with the wider Keele African Caribbean Society (KACS) to host inclusive events celebrating Black excellence and culture, while tackling issues affecting Black students in healthcare.

What we offer:

  • Peer support and mentoring
  • Revision sessions and OSCE prep
  • Guest speakers and career panels
  • Cultural events and socials
  • Mental health and wellbeing support
  • Opportunities for leadership and outreach

Whether you’re in first year or final year, KACS Medics is your home away from home. Come join the family!
