MSF - Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) is an international medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid and medical care in more than 60 countries to people who need it most. They provide vital and expert help in areas of conflict, natural disasters and epidemics worldwide.
As an organisation and in their work they uphold 3 main values; they are Independent, Impartial and Neutral.
Keele Friends of MSF are the official Keele student group associated with MSF UK, working in conjunction with the main organisation. Our activities involve fundraising events, film screenings, raising awareness and discussions about global health, humanitarian issues and advocacy. This year we will be holding fundraising and social events, as well as holding our annual Global Health Challenges conference in 2019, inviting experts from the field and local professionals to discuss issues surrounding access to healthcare and humanitarian aid worldwide.
If you are interested in working for MSF or other similar organisations in the future this is the society for you! Students from all subjects are welcome to join, see you at our next event!
