Keele SU's Movember Campaign
November at KeeleSU is the start of our Movember campaign which aims to raise awareness, reduce the stigma and start conversations to address men's health.
Every year we get behind Movember to raise funds to tackle some of the biggest issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health.
Our Movember campaign is focused on raising awareness and funds through fundraising events and the infamous SU Mo Team. The team is made up of Full-Time Officers, SU staff and students.
Anyone can join in, just sign up to our Mo Space!

Move for Movember: get running or walking 60km over the month. That is 60km for 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world. You don’t need to be an amazing athlete, just taking part and raising donations for doing it will make a difference.

Get hosting: get everyone together and raise essential funds for men’s health. It doesn’t matter what you do whilst you’re together. Here are some ideas to inspire you: cooking a lovely dinner, setting up a sports match, a party or even a ‘Shave Down’-a group shave off of facial hair to get started.
The Movember Foundation are funding ground-breaking programmes all over the world, engaging with men where they are, to understand what works best, to help make change happen sooner.
